COLOR GUARD / WINTER GUARD

The Karns High School Color Guard is an essential component of the Karns Band Program. Currently, approximately 25 students participate in the color guard. The fall program emphasizes performance skills in movement, dance, flags, rifles, and sabers. A number of members have a background in dance and bring those skills to the program. The Karns High School Winter Guard continues the performance skills of color guard into the winter and spring months through a local and national circuit season. The Winter Guard is selected by audition each November. ​​The Color Guard and Winter Guard are under the direction of Mr. CJ McCrory and Ms. Emily Schirle.
